Acuity Scheduling is the online booking tool that I use for clients to book and pay for their sessions with me. I LOVE Acuity because it is so simple and easy to use for both you and your clients, and very customisable to suit your business. You can integrate with tools like PayPal, Stripe, or Square for collecting payment, sync appointments to your calendar, and add clients to your mailing list, send customisable email reminders and so much more. It really is hands down the best investment you can make in a booking tool.
Kartra is an all in one online marketing tool. Functionality includes email marketing, landing and sales pages, online courses and memberships, shopping carts for digital and physical products, and so much more.
If you have an established business, and you’re sick of trying to link all your different apps and tools together, then Kartra is for you.

Active Campaign is my recommendation for those who are ready to take their email marketing to the next step. Their basic plan starts at just $9 US/month if you have fewer than 500 subscribers. Active Campaign allows you to tag your subscribers, create sophisticated automation sequences, and manage client contacts. You can start sending follow-up that adapts to your customers’ behaviour so you are sending the perfect message at the perfect time. You’ll have happier customers and higher conversions!
ClickUp is where I house my entire business hub! Yes you can do project and task management, but it’s not just another project management tool. With the docs feature you can draft blog posts, wiki’s, SOPs, or client notes. Dashboards give you a birds eye view of your business. Automations reduce the manual work required. And they release new features every single week! This has replaced so many different tools in my business!
SocialBee is a social media content management tool for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest. It’s great for recycling your evergreen content without you having to do anything. You can also schedule one-off posts inside SocialBee. Such a time saver!
Zoom is my preferred online meeting tool. The free plan will allow you to have 1 on 1 calls, record, and share screens – perfect if you’re an online coach working with people from any location. If you’re wanting to host group calls or run small online workshops then you will need to upgrade to the paid plan which is just $14.99 US / month. As an added bonus, paid Zoom plans also allow live streaming to Facebook and YouTube.
Zapier is an incredibly useful too that allows you to build custom integration between different apps, and best of all you don’t need to be a developer to do it. Examples of Zaps that I have created include creating a new Trello card on my client sessions board for each new appointment booked in Acuity, automatically adding payments received to my payment tracking spreadsheet, and creating a new client file in Evernote. Using Zapier has allowed me to remove some of the manual steps in my processes that are triggered each time a client books a session with me.
